Help Keep the Front Door Open

Our Emergency Shelter program is the LEAST funded of the SIX HOUSING programs that we operate... and that grant funding was recently cut in HALF. 

​

The Emergency Shelter program constitutes the FRONT DOOR for so many with nowhere else to turn. Last year we placed 42 PEOPLE from Emergency Shelter (and Winter Seasonal Shelter) into independent housing. 

​

We are looking for a FEW (16) of you to donate $192 per month for 12 months ($2304 total) to help us close the gap and keep that front door open!

Hospitality House, a regional nonprofit housing and homeless services agency, works in seven rural North Carolina counties (Watauga, Wilkes, Ashe, Avery, Alleghany, Mitchell, Yancey) providing housing, shelter, food access, homeless prevention, street outreach, counseling, medical care, and crisis assistance.
