The High Country Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning and is open to competitive runners, casual joggers, walkers, and fun runners. Far from just a race, the event is fun for the entire family and includes a live DJ, photo-staging area, costumes, and a picnic shed full of food and hot drinks.

Choose from a 5K or 10K Timed Trail Race or an untimed 5K Fun Run/Walk.

The 5K and 10K trail races will take you on a scenic trip through the woods via The Greenway and Kennedy Trails.

The Fun Run/Walk 5K will utilize all paved trails throughout the park - making it accessible for the everyone including leashed dogs, strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.

All finishers will receive a custom High Country Turkey Trot finisher medal with additional custom swag on the line for age group and overall winners! In addition to custom swag, overall M/F winners of the 5K and 10K will receive a fresh pumpkin pie from Stick Boy Bread Company!

All participants are asked to bring non-perishable boxes or canned food items!
