Northwest CoC agencies gather data on the extent of homelessness in the seven counties served. We plan to compile an Annual Report to share with partner agencies on what homelessness looks like in each county, what trends we observe, and what support is needed to prevent and end homelessness. This report is a new endeavor on our part, but we hope this will serve as a tool for service providers and local leadership.

provides a snap-shot of the state of homelessness in our region, with three unsheltered individuals for each individual in shelter.

Hospitality House, a regional nonprofit transitional living facility  and crisis assistance resource center, serves seven rural North Carolina counties (Watauga, Wilkes, Ashe, Avery, Alleghany, Mitchell, Yancey) providing housing, prevention and nutrition.
